Bob Jewett Staff Professional, Oak Marr Golf Complex United States Golf Teachers Federation, Certified Member
Bob has played golf for almost 50 years and can honestly say that he now enjoys the game more than ever. Over the years he has developed simple techniques to help him improve his play and is now teaching golf so he can share his understanding of the game with others. He believes that many teachers are skilled at identifying swing flaws in other golfers but do not fully understand why the players have developed those flaws in the first place. Bob tries to uncover the reason why the swing flaws occur and then figure out very simple ways to correct them. His goal is to increase his understanding of the game of golf and to help others improve their play and enjoy the game more. Bob received his PhD in math from the University of Florida in 1971 and spent 35 years doing mathematical programming for the Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He retired in 2007. He and his wife Suzanne have been married 37 years and have two children and three grandchildren.
