At Every Body Golf School, we've done our best to create a website that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at (703) 255-5396.

Q: Do I need clubs for classes or private lessons?

A: No, the Every Body Golf School will provide you loaner clubs to use for both private and group lessons. EBGS also provides club fitting and sales services and recommends that you do not buy clubs before beginning your lessons unless you are custom fit for them.

Q: What is the difference between group and private lessons?

A: Group lessons provide a chance to meet and network with other new golfers, as well as learn golf in a fun and supportive environment. Group lessons meet once or twice a week on a set schedule, and are a good, inexpensive way to gain exposure to the game of golf. Private lessons are good for the player with a busy or constantly changing schedule, and provide one on one attention at all times.

Q: What is the difference between your "senior" and "staff" professionals?

A: All EBGS instructors are well qualified and certified to teach golf. Our senior instructors have more experience and a higher level of certification than our staff instructors. EBGS senior professionals are either PGA and/or LPGA Members, or USGTF (United States Golf Teachers Federation) level 3 instructors. Our staff professionals are either PGA or LPGA apprentices, or USGTF level 1 or 2 instructors.

Q: What should I do in case of inclement weather?

A: EBGS will not hold group classes in dangerous weather, or when the golf facilities are closed due to weather conditions. If your classes or private lessons are cancelled, you instructor will contact you in advance to notify you.

Q: What should I wear to my class or private lessons?

A: Dress comfortably in non-restrictive clothing that is appropriate for the season temperatures. Golf shoes are not required, however, dress shoes and heels are not recommended due to their lack of traction and their likelihood to damage the greens. Athletic shoes, walking, running, or cross-trainers are the best.

Q: Am I required to purchase range balls for my lessons?

A: You are required to purchase range tokens for all private and group lessons that will be using the range with the exception of junior group classes. You will not need range tokens for classes on chipping and putting.
